Jim Rogers

Jim Rogers is a 40-year veteran of the financial services industry.
Mr. Rogers has a long list of academic, industry, and community service qualifications.
He has a B.A. in Economics from the University of British Columbia (UBC), an MBA from Simon Fraser University (SFU), and has also earned the CLU, CFP, RFP and CH.FC industry designations.
Jim is a past 2-term Chair of CAIFA (the Canadian Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors) and was honoured by Advisor's Edge magazine with their Career Achievement Award.
Jim's community involvements have included service on the Boards of St. Paul's Hospital, St. Vincent's Hospital Foundation, Vancouver College, The United Way, and UBC's Senate.
He has lectured in the Department of Economics at UBC and in the Graduate School of Business at SFU.
Mr. Rogers founded Rogers Group Financial in 1974, which is a 51 person independent financial advisory and portfolio management firm located in Vancouver.
